Brian decided to kite-surf from Byron Bay to Melbourne. He left with a dry bag on his back containing some bare essentials. Brian didn’t have a will, but he did have internet and access to Surfing Maps and Wills Estate on his adventure.

Brian risked his life to take on an adventure of a lifetime and smash the world record for the most extreme kite surfer in the world.

On his adventures down the east coast of Australia, Brian dropped into every skatepark he could on the land and started spotting a lot of sharks in the water. Almost every time Brian went kitesurfing, he saw at least one shark.

Brian had been kitesurfing for over a month and never had a problem. He became confident in his athleticism, ability and equipment. Brian started to push the boundaries further than he had been before. When Brian was 5 km off the coast, the wind dropped, his kite fell out of the sky and hit the water. The kite wouldn’t launch, and the tides was pulling Brian further offshore, much faster than he could swim.

Brian was in shark-infested waters, drifting further and further out to sea. He reached for his trusted emergency beacon that he spent thousands of dollars on for emergencies like this. The GPS emergency beacon never sent the authorities an S.O.S alert. Brian was stranded floating with the sharks with no wind to take him back to shore. He messaged his family for help and they called the police and coast guard.

Luckily the wind picked up. Brian was able to launch his kite and kitesurfed back to the beach. Brian had a hot shower by the time the authorities arrived by both sea and air to save his life.

Brian survived a close call. The circumstances could have been much different if the wind didn’t pick up when it did. Brian could have died, and he didn’t have a will. Brian jumped online and made a will online, printed it off, signed it and shared it with his parents.

Although the authorities advised Brian not to complete his mission, Brian was determined to break the record and continued kitesurfing all the way to Melbourne. He slept in a hammock under the stars and wore the same underwear for months on end.

When Brian landed in Melbourne, he was celebrated everywhere he went as the champion athlete that he was. Brian was running away from the paparazzi when he slipped on a banana and hit his head on the concrete.

In the end Brians will was never contested. Brian donated his entire estate to shark protection.
