Founded by Fred Hollows in 1992, shortly before he died, The Fred Hollows Foundation has been improving sight domestically in Australia and worldwide.
Fred Hollows was a respected Australian eye surgeon and had a mission of improving the vision of Aboriginal and Torrestrate Islanders. The organisation has spread internationally and is helping improve eye health to those who otherwise wouldn’t have access to the services and are left vision impaired.
